Role Overview:
As the
Vice President of Partner Success , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Flex's relationships with property management companies (PMCs). Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will lead a team dedicated to ensuring that property management partners are onboarded successfully, achieve high levels of satisfaction, and fully leverage Flex's flexible rent payment solution to streamline their operations and drive tenant satisfaction. Your success will be measured by partner retention, expansion, and overall satisfaction with Flex's solution.
For candidates outside of the NY/NJ area, you may be eligible for our relocation assistance program, with an on-site expectation of 3 days per week in our New York Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Relationship Management:
Lead and nurture strategic relationships with PMCs, including both large-scale management firms and smaller operators. Be the primary point of contact for high-value, complex accounts. Build long-term, trusted partnerships by understanding the unique needs and pain points of property management companies, and ensure that Flex's solution meets those needs.
Revenue Expansion:
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional features and services to existing PMC partners. Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth within your portfolio of partners, including increasing platform adoption, expanding use cases, and securing renewals or contract extensions.
Partner Success & Retention:
Drive partner satisfaction by proactively identifying and addressing any issues or concerns. Develop tailored success plans for each key partner to ensure they achieve their goals. Monitor partner health metrics and take swift action to prevent churn, ensuring long-term retention and fostering advocacy from property management partners.
Onboarding & Integration:
Oversee the onboarding process for new property management partners, ensuring smooth and efficient integration of Flex's payment solutions into their existing workflows. Work closely with the sales and implementation teams to deliver high-quality onboarding experiences and ensure partners see immediate value from the platform.
Strategic Leadership:
Work closely with the CRO to align the partner success strategy with broader company revenue objectives, ensuring that your team's efforts directly contribute to company growth. Provide regular updates and reports on partner success, revenue performance, and key metrics to the executive team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure that feedback from PMC partners is incorporated into the product roadmap, marketing strategies, and sales tactics. Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure that new features and updates are communicated effectively to partners, driving adoption and satisfaction. Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing Partner Success team. Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to ensure the team meets its goals and continues to grow in their roles. Develop team processes, best practices, and performance metrics to ensure efficient execution and ongoing success.
Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement:
Stay informed on industry trends, challenges, and best practices related to property management, rent payment solutions, and real estate technology. Represent Flex at industry events, webinars, and conferences, building Flex's reputation as a leader in flexible rent payment solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience:
8+ years of experience in partner success, account management, or customer success, with a proven track record in B2B relationships. 3+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or property management-related environment. Strong understanding of the property management industry, including workflows, payment systems, and key operational challenges faced by property managers. Experience managing complex, enterprise-level accounts and delivering customized solutions to meet partner needs.
Skills:
Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to develop strong, long-lasting partnerships with property management companies. Data-driven approach to monitoring partner success and identifying areas for improvement. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering results. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on operational excellence.
Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with property management software, rent collection systems, and payment processing is strongly preferred. Understanding of trends and challenges in the rental housing industry, including evolving tenant expectations and the growing demand for flexible payment options.
The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
For working locations in NY/NJ/CA, the base salary pay range will be $286,000 - $304,000
