Our Finance & Commercial Team consists of Financial Reporting Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Risk and Procurement. As trusted Business Partners, we support all Teams across THE ICONIC to execute the business strategy, drive growth and shareholder value, minimise risk, and enable THE ICONIC to continue to deliver a seamless and inspiring experience to our customers.
What you'll do The Commercial Analyst role sits within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team, reporting to the Finance Business Partner for Commercial & Sustainability. The role supports the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process, longer-term strategic and financial planning as well as providing ongoing insights and analysis on our sales, category and brand performance, as well as stock management.
To succeed in this role you will be agile, comfortable working in a fast paced environment and have a continuous improvement mindset. You will love to immerse yourself in data and are able to draw out insights that lead to action and be able to clearly communicate the insights. You have a highly analytical mind with a structured, logical manner of thinking which is critical to success in this role.
How You'll Succeed Have a keen sense of ownership and drive to see projects through to an outcome, on time and to a high qualityEnjoy building stakeholder relationships and have a passion for influencing business decision makingHighly analytical and data driven - love to interpret data, analyse business trends and performance and provide insightful analysis and reporting to drive effective decision-makingNot afraid to challenge the status-quo - continuously seek out ways to identify and drive improvement in business processes, including automation of reports and modelsMaintain a high level of attention to detail even in high-intensity and pressure situationsWhat it takes 2 to 3 years experience as a commercial analyst or similar in the retail industryOutstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to win the trust and respect of stakeholdersCA or CPA qualified or working towards - numbers are my passion!Excellent communicator with strong, clear, concise writing and presentation skillsEffective time management, with the ability to handle multiple jobs at onceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills is keyPrior experience working with Commercial stakeholders will be highly regardedLife at THE ICONIC From our ways of working to our growth mindset and sustainable approach, we each add unique value and have an incredible amount of fun doing it!
