The Taxation Accountant provides specialist advice relating to taxation law, interpretation and applicability to NSW Police Force operations to ensure that NSW Police meets its taxation obligations and requirements. The position develops policy, systems and procedures and is involved in the provision of training and guidance to those staff with specific financial responsibilities in the area of taxation. The role ensures that NSW Police Force complies with the tax system, and that its taxation and statutory returns are accurate and on time.
