We are looking to expand this team and bring on a Tax Senior who would be responsible for supporting the Tax team in the management of the tax compliance requirements for our portfolio of clients.

What are your responsibilities for the role?
Preparation and Review of Tax Returns:
Prepare and review personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
Tax Computations:
Calculate tax liabilities, ensuring that clients are fully aware of their tax obligations and any potential tax savings.
Filing Deadlines:
Ensure all tax returns and payments are submitted on time, avoiding any late filing penalties.
Client Advisory:
Provide tax planning advice to clients to optimize their tax position and take advantage of available tax reliefs and exemptions.
Tax Structuring:
Advise clients on tax-efficient structures for their business operations and transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
HMRC Enquiries:
Manage and resolve any queries or investigations raised by HMRC, representing clients as needed.
Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business and personal tax needs.
Training and Development:
Provide training and support to junior staff members, sharing knowledge and best practices in tax compliance and advisory.
Support Partners:
Work closely with the partners, providing support on complex tax matters and contributing to strategic planning for clients.
Collaborative Projects:
Collaborate with audit and accounting teams to provide integrated services to clients, ensuring all aspects of their financial affairs are considered.
