Tax Manager - Superannuation

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join their dynamic team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of the tax compliance and reporting requirements for superannuation entities.
A unique opportunity in the superfund industry, our client is restructuring its portfolio, and its complex transactions is providing a unique challenge, giving this person the opportunity to elevate their experience and knowledge in the industry.
You will challenge, review and advise on new process set ups.
You will work with senior stakeholders across Legal, Product, Portfolio, Operations and Finance.
Your contribution will optimise the firm's tax position and its underlying systems.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to elevate their career to the next level quickly.
You will also have the opportunity to get involved in advisory work.
What you'll do: Prepare direct tax compliance and regulatory reporting for Superannuation entities
Ensure accurate and timely tax effect accounting calculations and reporting for quarterly, half-year, and full-year processes
Calculate and process PAYG instalment income in a timely manner
Support ATO and foreign revenue engagement
Provide guidance to other members of the Tax team as required
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide tax advice to the business and implement business line strategy
Manage tax governance and risk management activities, including execution of tax policies
What you bring: Superannuation tax experience
CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
Advanced Excel capabilities
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong commercial acumen
