As a
Tax Manager
at our Progressive Accounting Practice, you will be responsible for managing the company's tax affairs and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
This is a
full-time
position based in
Melbourne VIC 3000 .What you'll be doingOverseeing the preparation and filing of all tax returns and related documentationProviding strategic tax advice to the leadership team on a range of corporate transactions and initiativesLiaising with external tax authorities and advisors to manage clients' affairsImplementing and maintaining effective tax planning and compliance processesStaying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and communicating the impact to the businessMentoring and developing a team of tax professionalsWhat we're looking for5+ years of experience in a tax advisory or management role, preferably in a professional services firm or large corporateStrong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex tax matters to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersExperience in leading and managing a team of tax professionalsTertiary qualification in Accounting or a related disciplineCPA or CA qualification highly desirableWhat we offerCompetitive salary with reviewsComprehensive training and development opportunitiesFlexible work arrangements, including the option to work from homePartnership PotentialAbout us
