Description
As a Manager, you will join an already established team of 30 and assist high net worth clients with their tax needs, being wholly involved in the business life cycle. You will also have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, help mentor junior team members, and get involved in client management and project work. As a senior associate, you will be responsible for:
Managing clients and complex tax issues
Designing and implementing structures that are fit for the purposes of our client's commercial objectives
Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office, including representing our clients during ATO engagements, and managing their tax reporting obligations
Providing advice around the purchase of new investments or business assets
Supporting families as they look to transfer wealth between generations
Profile
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar tax-based role and be able to demonstrate a customer-centric approach to ensure clients get the best service. The successful Manager will meet the following criteria:
Must be CA or CPA qualified
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
The ability to foster strong relationships with clients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
