Quickly becoming a leader in its field, the Company has gone from strength to strength and experiencing rapid growth. Because of this we are looking for Tax Manager - a newly created role to join the team.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the controllership team to ensure the compliance and timing of GST, ITR, FBT, PAYG, withholding tax, payroll tax, R&D tax claims and tax audits. This includes providing guidance on technical issues, lodgements and possible disputes.Ensure effective planning and execution of local tax compliance requirements, including preparation and review of tax returns by managing internal and external resources.Implement transfer pricing policies and review supporting documentation in accordance with Australian legislation and global regulations. This also includes managing local reporting obligations.Support tax audits with close collaboration with local finance teams.Monitor new tax developments, identify potential tax issues, analyze its impact to the company, make recommendations to prevent and resolve tax issues and advise the business accordingly.Provide tax support for major transactions such as merger and acquisition.Maintain a high standard of internal control that complies with corporate policies and procedures, local processes and local external requirements.Liaises across tax, finance, legal, HR and with external advisers to ensure compliance with local jurisdictions and assesses areas of risk.Support a high-performance operating culture throughout the organization which emphasizes the customers, teamwork, external focus and personal accountability.Who are you? CPA/CA qualificationMinimum of 8-10+ years of tax experiencePossess strong tax knowledge and comprehensive experiences in Income tax, GST, FBTHave strong analytical skills in interpreting/analysing impact of ever-changing tax laws and its impact to businessExperience in managing international tax issues, e.g. transfer pricingGood finance and accounting knowledge, technical tax accounting experienceExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communicationStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise, coordinate, and manage tasksAbility to adapt to rapid change in a fast paced, dynamic environmentA self-starter with a hands-on approach in dealing with day-to-day supporting operations in a fast-paced office environmentDeal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situationsWhy Eightcap?
