Dynamic and fast paced Retail environmentHybrid (2 days from home) and flexible working with 2 wellbeing days per yearPermanent full-time role with learn and grow opportunitiesWe are on the search for a Tax Manager, to coordinate all tax compliance obligations and providing tax advice to the Hanes Australasia Group (domestic and international).
The core responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:
Assist with the preparation of income tax returns, tax reporting, PAYG, Transfer Pricing documentation, BAS, FBT returns and withholding tax payments.Provide a full range of tax advice including income tax, GST, FBT and international tax.Assist in tax reviews/audits, Research & Development claims, business acquisitions/disposals and maintain tax governance processes, procedures and controls.Maintain the document management system for the tax group and commit to ongoing taxation training.What skills do I have?
An accounting degree and CA or CPA qualified.Minimum 5 years technical tax experience (Big 4 accounting firm and/or Large Corporate).Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; you're not afraid to dig into the detail and figure it out!Loads of initiative with a proactive "can-do" attitude.Strong communication skills; we don't hide behind emails, you'll need to love talking to people to gain the right information from your stakeholders.What's in it for me?
