As a Tax Manager in our Tax team, you will assist in providing tax compliance and advisory services to ART.
Day to day, you'll:
Use sound analysis to advise internal stakeholders and make recommendations on the structuring of investments to ensure tax implications are taken into consideration.Work with external advisors to ensure compliance obligations in local and foreign jurisdictions are met and documented accordingly.Liaise with ART's custodian in finalising, preparing and reviewing tax returns and statements for lodgement.Research and prepare advice on various taxation issues relating to ART, having regard to wider commercial context and implications.Assist in continuous improvement and the development of policies and practices, while developing and embedding new functions, processes and cultures within the team.Monitor changes to legislation and accounting standards that impact the operations of ART.Build trusted relationships with regulators, internal and external stakeholders.This role is available as a full-time/ permanent opportunity.

Demonstrated experience in delivery of tax compliance and advisory services either within a professional services firm or major corporate environment. Experience across different taxes particularly Australian and foreign income tax and GST.A highly developed ability to provide advice, options and support to senior management and other key stakeholders to ensure ART's investment are managed within its tax risk appetite.An ability to identify and manage risks associated with the operation of the Tax team and also focus on third party governance.A relevant qualification in legal, accounting, business or commerce.A post graduate qualification or membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g. CA, CPA, CTA etc.).Demonstrated desire and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.About us Our 2.3 million members trust us to take care of almost $300 billion in retirement savings.
