Because it's only when we work together in a culture where everyone thrives, that we can build the world we all want to live in.About the opportunity:This is an important role in which you will support and assist with an extensive range of activities conducted in the Tax and Treasury function for Australia and New Zealand (NZ) including tax reporting and tax processes, tax compliance, tax advisory, management of financial risks, treasury reporting & administration, and Insurance.Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include the following for Australia and NZ:Preparing quarterly income tax calculations and tax group reporting packages, including tax effect accounting.Preparing annual income tax returns.Preparing monthly GST returns and fuel tax credit calculations.Preparing FBT returns.Providing tax advice to business units and specialist functions.Assisting with financial and Group reporting requirements from a treasury perspective including cashflow forecasting.Assisting with transactional banking obligations including bank platform management.Assisting with insurance policy renewals and insurance queries from the business.About You:Degree Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Law.Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws.Some exposure to Treasury issues.An understanding of IFRS.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and high initiative.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to our world-leading business.Why Holcim?At Holcim, we offer an inclusive environment, where our people feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work.
