Tax Analyst - Listed Business

About Our Client Michael Page are partnering with a global business within the site services and event contracts space in their search for a Tax Analyst to join their national tax team.

This position will report directly to the Tax Manager and is an ideal opportunity for candidates from a specialist tax field to broaden their experience across corporate tax. Candidates with employment, direct or indirect tax experience are encourage to apply.
Job Description As a Tax Analyst, you will collaborate with the Tax Manager and external advisers to support tax compliance and business needs. Key responsibilities include:
Ensure timely and accurate lodgement of all tax obligationsGST, FBT, Payroll Tax, PAYG reporting, Fuel Tax, Au Income Tax Provide tax support and advice to the business.Identify and research tax planning opportunities.Assist with audits and maintain the tax fixed asset register.Advise on the tax implications of significant transactions (M&A and restructures). The Successful Applicant CA or CPA qualification.5+ years of tax experience.Strong communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and time management.A proactive, accountable attitude and teamwork skills.
