ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team!
In this role, you'll play a key part in managing tax obligations for our legal entities across Australia and New Zealand.
Your day-to-day will involve preparing and filing Direct and Indirect Tax compliance documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
But that's not all—your expertise will also contribute to strengthening our tax governance and occasionally provide strategic tax advice to enhance value for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Duties will include (but not limited to) -
Assisting with the preparation of Australian and New Zealand tax compliance lodgements (including GST and FBT activity statements, withholding tax reports, income tax returns)
Recording monthly tax accrual journals and preparing account reconciliations
Preparing tax provision calculations and assisting with the year end audit
Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the tax governance environment of Custom Fleet
Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of effective processes to ensure compliance with tax legislations and Custom Fleet's policies and procedures and collaborating with key internal stakeholders including the Finance team and global Tax team
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will portray the following -
2-3 years' experience in a Corporate and/or Chartered experience with exposure to financial reporting.
CA or CPA qualification desired
Degree in Accounting/Commerce or Law
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a focus on results coupled with strong attention to detail
Sound communication skills with the ability to communicate at various levels of a business
