This position will be based at our head office in Victoria Park, WA.Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:Permanent full-time position.Discounted health insurance.Salary sacrifice and novated leasing available.Key Responsibilities:Provide advice to the Group Tax Manager on key changes in tax legislation and reporting requirements, tax governance and tax risk management and transfer pricing requirements.Liaising with external tax advisors.Prepare the Group's consolidated and standalone tax effect accounting calculations and financial statements for the year-end and half-year reporting periods.Prepare the annual and monthly tax compliance for the Australian and foreign companies, and coordinate with external tax advisers (e.g. Consolidated tax return and supporting schedules, Country by Country Reporting, Local File and Master File, transfer pricing documentation, joint venture tax returns, GST, PAYGI, WHT, Fuel Tax Credits, Payroll Tax).Prepare tax research and provide technical support and guidance to the Finance and Tax team, Commercial Managers and key internal stakeholders.Improve the Group's tax compliance and reporting activities by helping deliver process automation and data analytics opportunities.Support with budgeting and cash flow forecasting.Support with Tax planning.What you'll bring:Tertiary level education and postgraduate qualification (CA, CPA, CTA or Masters of Tax).4+ years' experience in corporate income tax in a professional services firm or large corporate environment.Strong technical and legislative knowledge and strong problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and verbal communications skills, and an ability to develop a strong rapport with key internal and external stakeholder relationships.Proven ability to analyse and communicate financial information in an insightful way.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.Team player.Growth mindset.Organised with good attention to detail.Positive can-do attitude.Life at MonadelphousThere's lots to get involved in, celebratory or cultural events and so much more.
