A typical day may look like:Reporting to the Tax Manager Australia, the role will have a broad compliance, data and process improvement focus.
You will work widely across the business, responsible for supporting with full range of tax compliance matters including reporting and special project/advisory services, with emphasis on the following:
Assisting the Australian Tax Manager and/or Senior Tax Analyst deliver transformation of the Australian group's tax compliance and incentives programs to be achieved through process re-engineering and implementation of technology solutions,Assisting the Australian Tax Manager and/or Senior Tax Analyst administer income tax, GST, FBT and R&D compliance and reporting,Perform monthly GL reconciliations,Implementing/maintaining internal reporting controls & procedures,Assisting with providing advice to the broader business,Perform analysis of business requirements to recommend and/or develop improved procedures/processes to meet business demands, andAssisting with state and federal revenue authority reviews.A little about you:To be successful in this role you will have a finance/tax background & be numerically literate.
In addition you will:
