Consistent elevated demand for our client's tax and business advice services has resulted in the need to appoint a Senior Tax Accountant to this four partner firm.The practice CPA/CA provides tax and corporate advice to a wide range of private businesses, corporate enterprises, and active investment clients.The Tax Senior position is supported by Managers and Directors with the strategic aim to develop staff business advisory skills. Your future career is therefore supported and underpinned by the resulting commercial acumen.Knowledge and experience in tax and accounting for multi-entity private business clients is a fundamental pre-requisite for the position. Where this role goes further is the requirement for natural confidence in client discussions and the ability to appropriately influence clients to take the best option in their business and personal financial interests.At a bullet point level, the Tax Senior will require a minimum of five years of tax and accounting experience in professional practice in Australia. The Senior Tax Accountant will need to demonstrate:Comprehensive tax and accounting competence for private business clientsConfident client communicationsAn ability to think beyond tax and complianceAn innate team leadership styleInherent energy and pride in client serviceExperience in keeping an oversight on workflow and productivityAs a respected practice, the firm is renowned for continual development of its people and rewarding them commensurate with ongoing technical development, client relationship development, and efficiency in operation.Success in this role will be predicated on:Your professional qualifications (CA or CPA)Your minimum four years of exposure to tax and business services in an Australian professional practiceExperience in first-level research on tax matters for private business clientsTechnical competence in delivering tax and accounting advice to private businesses and investment clientsThe personal confidence and poise to assume an informal leadership role, with development to Manager level over the next two to three yearsThe career path within the practice leads directly to the highest level for those who have aspiration.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years of taxation experience do you have?Have you completed a chartered accountant (CA) qualification?Have you completed a certified practising accountant (CPA) qualification?What can I earn as a Taxation Accountant?
