Tax Accountant - Intermediate To Senior Level

We are currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
About the role As an Intermediate or Senior Accountant, you will work closely with partners and managers and will be will be a key player in delivering high-quality services to our clientele.  Based on your level of experience, your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for all entities;Prepare and review quarterly and/or monthly activity statements; Prepare other statutory returns including Fringe Benefits Tax, Payroll Tax and Land Tax;Assist with tax planning and advisory projects for clients;Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;Provide advice in relation to various tax matters including GST, capital gains tax and fringe benefits tax; Identify and research various tax and accounting issues;Assist Graduate Accountants with their work and act as a mentor/buddy; andCommunicate effectively with clients and liaise with ATO and other government bodies. Skills and Experience Minimum 2-5 years taxation and business services experience in an accounting firm;Completed, or in the process of completing, CA or equivalent;Strong technical skills in accounting, taxation and business advisory;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;A team player with a friendly approach to fellow staff and clients is paramount;Strong commitment to quality service and client relationships; andBe eager to learn, grow and further your career.
