Reporting to the Tax Team Leader, you will support a portfolio of small business customers, ensuring they have set their finances up for success.Key ResponsibilitiesReview tax and accounting work completed by junior members of the team, all while fostering a supportive working environment.Assist in tax compliance for individual and business clients. Review tax returns, resolve discrepancies, and optimize tax strategies.Preparation of all periodic tax returns and compliance reporting (Company, Partnership, Trust, FBT).Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research on tax-related issues, and provide recommendations based on findings.Ensuring timely and professional communication, therefore building strong relationships with your clients.RequirementsDegree qualification with minimum 2 years' experience in a public practice environment.CPA or CA qualified or working towards qualification.Proficiency in Xero, Xero Tax and Xero payroll.Proven ability to delegate, manage and review outsourced work.Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.Ideally experienced in managing a portfolio of clients.Great written and verbal communication skills.
