Reporting to the Senior Tax manager, this role is an integral part of the team, providing support across all aspects of the diverse tax function at Frasers, Frasers Property Australia (FPA), FPA Joint Ventures and Frasers Logistics and Commercial Trust (FLCT).
This opportunity will provide exposure across a range of different property asset classes and enable you to broaden your experience within the property sector.
As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include: Assist in the preparation of income tax returns including engaging with external advisors and ensuring on time tax lodgementPreparation of income tax provision calculations, including tax effective accounting, deferred taxes reporting and true upsAssist with forecasting of income tax and budgeting, distribution review calculations and reviewing and maintaining the fixed asset registerAssist with managing the implementation/outcomes of international tax initiatives announced by Government and ATOPreparation and lodgements of monthly & quarterly BAS and IASAssist in review of land tax assessments including preparation of objections and liaising with external valuersAssist with employment taxes including payroll tax and FBTIdentify opportunity for process improvements and innovationYou may have all or some of the following skills / experiences: Tertiary qualifications within Taxation or AccountingDemonstrated experience in a Big 4 or chartered accounting firm and/or corporate environment is highly desirableExperience in corporate tax and/or indirect taxAdvanced skills in Word and ExcelSkills in SAP or Business Objects, and in tax software such as OneSource, are desirableA keen interest in data analytics and process transformationAdept at prioritising, managing time, and meeting deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
