We work in a complex tax world and make the complicated, uncomplicated. We're hiring a Tax Accountant reporting to the Tax Manager. Here, you'll make a profound and meaningful business impact, working with many stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will: Prepare international corporate income tax returns and supporting schedulesPrepare quarterly and annual tax provisionsPrepare international tax schedulesArrange corporate income tax paymentsReview the GL for tax sensitive accounts and flow through adjustments into the provision / tax returnAssess the impact of changes in tax laws / accounting standards and coordinate changes to ensure complianceCollaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholdersAssist with tax authority reviews / auditsQualificationsOn your first day, we'll expect you to have:Started working towards becoming a Qualified Accountant (Masters of Taxation and/or CA/CPA)At least 2-3 years proven experience in direct tax (commerce and/or chartered practice)Strong tax and legal research skills, including the interpretation of tax office rulings and provisions in income tax legislationSolid tax compliance experience and experience applying tax effect accounting principles under IFRS and/or US GAAPExperience solving complex tax issuesExcellent technical skills and proficiency in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)Experience with Oracle, Onesource Tax Provision and Alteryx or an interest in learningComfortable working in a fast paced environmentOur perks & benefitsAtlassian offers a variety of perks and benefits to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
