Tax Accountant - Hybrid Work Schedule

Tax AccountantOur client is a global imaging company based on Long Island. They are currently seeking a Tax Accountant who will be responsible for ensuring compliance obligations are efficient, on time, and accurate while minimizing the company's sales tax liabilities.You will be responsible on a contract basis to review and file sales and use tax returns for multiple states.Responsibilities:Responsible for preparing tax returns on a timely basisAssist other team members, when necessary, in the preparation of tax returns and review of tax bills, etc.Responsible for review of assessed valuation notices for accuracyRespond to requests from taxing authorities using both verbal and written communication skillsQualifications:BS in AccountingCPA would be helpful3-5 years of multi-state tax accounting experienceExperience with Vertex or similar tax management systems required.Oracle and Tableau experience a plusAble to work collaboratively across the organization as well independently with minimal oversightStrong Excel skills requiredCompensation:$45 - $50 per hour Hybrid Work Schedule
