Boutique Accountancy Firm - Perth LocationWith offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, and Perth, our client specialises in providing tax, accounting, and strategic advice to the arts and entertainment industry throughout Australia and overseas.We are currently seeking a qualified accountant on a full-time basis to join our clients' Perth office.The OpportunityReporting to the Director, and with a minimum of 3 years of business services experience, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, keeping in regular contact via phone or face-to-face meetings.The role is focused on maximising tax savings, supporting compliance obligations, and delivering tailored tax and business advice to a diverse and dynamic client base.What you'll be doingYou will work closely with clients in the arts and entertainment sector, providing tailored financial and business advice. Your responsibilities will include:Managing client relationships and ensuring regular communication through phone or in-person meetingsOverseeing the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements for various entities, including companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSFsHandling complex financial structures, including overseas operations and inter-company reconciliationsLiaising with regulatory bodies such as the ATO as requiredWhat's on offerFull-time, permanent position with regular business hours, and occasional flexibility as requiredCompetitive remuneration based on skills and experience (circa $120k p/a + SUPER)Opportunities for interstate travel and ongoing professional developmentFree on-site parking in a convenient inner-city locationFlexible working arrangements negotiableA friendly and collaborative team environmentSkills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting, business, or commerce; CA, CPA, or IPA preferredMinimum 3 years of business services experience in an Australian accounting firm or public practiceExcellent communication skills, capable of confidently managing a portfolio of clientsProficiency in MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, and MS ExcelAbility to manage workflow, deliver results under pressure, and maintain positive client relationshipsExperience in taxation for the creative industries (desirable)Right to live and work in Australia permanentlyIf you're looking for a varied, client-facing role within a dynamic, creative environment and have a passion for tax and business advisory, we'd love to hear from you!Click 'apply' to send us your CV & Cover Letter today.
