The Role The Head of Culture and Capability is responsible for driving the transformational initiatives within our People Strategic Blueprint including programs for cultural transformation and leadership capability development across our organisation.
This position will ensure the Culture and Capability Team deliver on key strategic outcomes including employee engagement, learning, and talent development.
Partner with senior leadership to embed our values and behaviours into all aspects of the employee experience.
Develop and implement a workforce capability framework to identify current and future skills needs in line with the company's strategic goals, technology advancements, and industry trends.
Continue to lead TasWater through our culture and capability transformation, ensuring change initiatives are well-managed, communicated, and embraced by employees.
Assess leadership capabilities and develop tailored programs to elevate leadership effectiveness across the organisation.
Lead and develop diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives that ensure a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Lead the design and execution of a holistic learning and development strategy including leadership development, technical training, and soft skills development.
What we're looking for Our ideal candidate will have a background in culture change, organisational and leadership development, and improving workforce capability.
We're looking for someone who has a drive for innovation, collaboration, and ensuring employee wellbeing and strategic goals align with TasWater's values and vision.
Expertise in cultural and leadership assessment tools, experience in culture change programs, and organisational development initiatives.
Strong ability to engage stakeholders, drive behavioural change, and present complex information through briefs, board papers, and reports.
Skilled in leading organisation-wide initiatives, building capability frameworks, and delivering measurable outcomes in a multi-disciplinary organisation.
Experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, engaging Aboriginal communities, and measuring the effectiveness and impact of programs.
