About the candidate:
You will be an experienced high-level operator with a background in development, implementation and management of training standards and practices. This role involves the creating of, improvement, and implementation of training assessment tools that are valid, compliant, reliable and aligned to training requirements.
You will be experienced in the RTO world and bring your dynamic skills and knowledge from a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Develop, validate and maintain tools, standards and processes that are compliant, reliable and align to ASQA and training package requirements. Provide guidance and compliance advice to all members of the Capability Team regarding tools and standards to ensure accurate use to meet national standards. Maintain records and documentation relating to validation, training products and to support compliance obligations and activities Oversee the development of training and assessment tools for accredited training Provide accurate and timely reporting on outcomes of training and validation activities. Recommend actions for corrections where appropriate and report on outcomes. Create, develop and maintain version control of RTO tools in consultation with the Capability Lead. Conduct regular audits and internal reviews to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations Support the Capability Lead as required Selection Criteria
Experience in a compliance or systems development role, within an RTO or education setting. Previous experience leading the administration and development of compliance related key practices and processes. Experience as a Lead Validator to ensure assessment tools have produced valid, reliable, sufficient, current and authentic evidence Knowledge and ability to create and maintain a 5-year Validation Plan including correct valid sampling for all TasRail's training products TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAESS00019 - Assessor Skill Set (or successors) Demonstrated self-leadership qualities Willingness to collaborate with subject matter experts and team members Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Advanced Microsoft Office skills Employee Benefits
