Materials Management Operations Lead South Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Band 4 - Salary Range $88,641 - $125,141 per annum (plus Super) The Materials Management Operations Lead role will see you lead the southern team of materials management professionals to ensure the effective and efficient operation of warehouse and transport functions within the Cambridge (main), New Norfolk and Huonville (regional) depots.
The role will see you develop initiatives to continuously improve supply chain operations to reduce costs and enhance performance, whilst ensuring team members comply with all required training, licencing and regulations.
Being the main point of contact for our internal customers is a key aspect of this role, with an aim to improve service delivery across the business by uplifting the capability and capacity of the Materials Management team.
About you You will have extensive experience in materials management and supply chain operations, with knowledge of warehousing, transport, logistics and overall supply chain principles.
To be successful in this role, you'll have strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead customer focused teams to successful outcomes.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to assess workplace risk, implement mitigation measures and improve future processes are key elements to success.
Our preferred candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
