Lead the delivery of transformative whole-of-government projects, driving innovation and efficiency across public sector workforce management. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll oversee complex projects, manage diverse stakeholder relationships, and ensure seamless implementation of critical initiatives. Period of Appointment Fixed term until 30 June 2026
Hours per fortnight Up to 73.5 hours - flexible options available.
Duties Develop, secure support, and drive the planning and implementation of the HRIS Transformation project and sub-projects to deliver HRIS solutions that are cost-effective, smoothly implemented and meet customer requirements. Coordinate day-to-day activities relating to the successful undertaking of the project, including leading and directing project team members, monitoring project activity, timing and progress and providing project status reports and other reports as required. Proactively manage emerging issues, risks, and conflicts in the project to ensure they are mitigated, resolved or minimised effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring key stakeholders are consulted, well informed and supported to participate in the implementation of HRIS. Develop and deliver change communications and engagement plans and support their implementation. Support stakeholder discussions around change management. Prepare complex discussion papers, guidelines and briefing documents for a range of audiences so that timely decisions are made and to ensure the successful delivery of the project. The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level. Desirable Requirements - Technical/professional expertise Tertiary qualifications in project management or other relevant discipline is desirable.
