Award/Classification: Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 4 $83,011.00 to $95,547.00 per annum Employment type: Fixed-term, flexible, full-time, part-time Region: South Location: Hobart The Executive Services Officer will have a passion for taking a client-centred approach to providing high level administrative coordination, ensuring administration processes meet specified standards, requirements, and timeframes.
Key functions include working as part of a small team to manage the daily flow of departmental information between the department's business units, Office of the Secretary, Executive team, and Ministerial offices in a time-critical environment.
The Executive Services Officer may be required to provide administrative support both within the Department or deployed in a portfolio Minister's office.

Period of Appointment Appointment to the role is on a fixed-term, flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for two years.
Duties Act as the primary point of liaison between the Department and Ministerial offices regarding the coordination of documents and information.
Quality assure documents in accordance with policies, procedures and parliamentary processes.
Coordinate within a team, with support from the Manager Secretariat, to provide high-level instruction, advice and guidance to departmental and Ministerial staff regarding Ministerial correspondence and other high-level government documentation.
Provide high-level support as required to the Office of the Secretary, Ministerial offices or within the Business Services Division to ensure the efficient and timely flow of correspondence and information is maintained.
Develop and maintain positive and productive key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Assist in the effective and efficient administration of departmental and government business.
