Work as an effective member of the multidisciplinary FVCSS Adult Program providing tailored programs that incorporate a multi-level mode of assessment and intervention for adult victims who have experienced family violence.
Ensure an integrated approach to response services for adult victims of family violence and their families, ensuring professional and practice consistency is delivered in a timely manner in line with practice standards and agency protocols.
As a Team Leader, ensure the services delivered by the FVCSS Adult Program are of the highest professional standard, responsive, effective, and efficient. Ensure that the FVCSS Adult Program forms part of an integrated service system delivered by the FVCSS through continual liaison and communication with other teams within the Service, in addition to professional working relationships with other relevant service providers. Contribute to and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of client programs and group sessions. The Team Leader – Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (Adult Program) will receive general direction, regular professional supervision, and performance reviews from the relevant region's Manager, FVCSS. The occupant will be responsible for:
Exercising judgment in the provision of safe, effective, and efficient professional services as part of the multidisciplinary FVCSS Adult Program. Supervision and management of FVCSS Adult Program workers. Promoting the principles of workplace diversity and exercising reasonable care in the performance of duties consistent with the relevant Work Health and Safety legislation. Provisions under the Family Violence Act 2004, Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act 1997 and other relevant legislation. The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service Work within a supportive team of Family Violence Specialists Engage with a range of stakeholders across government/non-government sectors Focus on professional and career development Details of appointment: Permanent part-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $106,966 to $123,013 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022. You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, eligible for membership with the relevant professional association. Current Working with Children Registration. *Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change.
