Clinical Nurse Consultant - Rehabilitation (523245) Australia, Tas About the Tasmanian State Service:

The Rehabilitation Service Unit consists of a highly skilled and knowledgeable multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing patients' functional and cognitive abilities to improve independence and quality of life.

The Role:
The Department of Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team in Rehabilitation at the Mersey Community Hospital.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Rehabilitation will work within an Acute/Primary Health Care Framework and will:
Provide professional advanced clinical leadership and expertise in the delivery of clinical advice, assessments, and interventions based on best practice.
Undertake a broad consultative role by initiating and maintaining a comprehensive network with community and support groups, developing professional collaborative linkages with other health professionals.
Implement evidence-based practices through teaching, research, policy, and protocol development.
Details of Appointment:
Fixed term, part-time, day worker position, working up to 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from February 2025 until January 2026.

Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 pro rata, per annum, with an 11.5% superannuation contribution on top of this amount.

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
