Duties Provide practical and administrative support to all aspects of Ashley Youth Detention Centre's (AYDC) planning and case management processes for young people in custody and in accordance with legislative and procedural provisions. Assist with the provision of integrated and coordinated services aimed at the reintegration of young people in detention back into the community. Assist in the development, establishment, and maintenance of effective case management systems, processes, and procedures for young people in custody. Period of Appointment Permanent, Ongoing

Minimum Requirements Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is a full member of AASW or is eligible for membership with the AASW. The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
