The Role: TasEquip provides essential basic medical equipment on loan to vulnerable Tasmanians.Primarily an asset cleaning role, there are also elements of basic service and repair to a range of equipment.This permanent part-time role plays an essential role in the smooth running of the service.The successful applicant will have: Strong attention to detail and willingness to work.Sound manual handling skills.A range of practical repair experience.Details of appointment: Permanent, part-time, day worker position, working up to 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 pro rata per annum + Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Registration to Work with Vulnerable People - NDIS.Desirable Criteria: Completion of Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) or similar and/or previous cleaning experience preferably within a healthcare setting.Completion of Certificate III in mechanical repair, welding or similar and/or previous repair/maintenance experience, preferably within a healthcare setting.Current Driver's Licence.Note: Please refer to the Application Guide for more information on Essential requirements, Desirable requirements, and pre-employment checks.
