TasEquip - Asset Cleaner/Handyman is responsible for the effective and efficient cleaning and maintenance of TasEquip.
The role: Perform routine maintenance repairs and minor alterations to equipment (non-trade functions).In close consultation with the TasEquip - Team Leader for day-to-day operations, determine appropriate courses of action and priority setting.Provide effective and efficient cleaning of assets in accordance with Agency policies and guidelines.Follow infection control procedures including but not limited to:Separating clean and soiled assets.Cleaning and tidying facilities before assets are removed from area.Following manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintenance of assets in conjunction with Agency policies and guidelines.Ensure cleaning and repair equipment is stored, used and maintained according to Agency policies and guidelines, including reporting faults to enable corrective action to be undertaken.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.

Salary: $58,184 to $59,580 per annu m, p ro rata . Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Completion of Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) or similar and/or previous cleaning experience preferably within a healthcare environmentCompletion of Certificate III in a mechanical repair, welding or similar and/or previous repair/maintenance experience, preferably within a healthcare equipmentCurrent Driver's LicenceThe Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
