About the role Every great adventure starts with a conversation – and that's where you come in.
As a Guest Services Consultant, you will be responsible for the collection, processing, and provision of guest information, and providing prompt responses to guest questions regarding their booking.
Respond to guest queries across phone, email, and online chat in a professional and friendly manner Provide accurate and detailed information about walks, accommodations, and additional services Process bookings, payments, and guest information with precision Follow up on outstanding booking details to ensure all arrangements are complete Coordinate logistical reservations to ensure seamless trip delivery Develop in-depth knowledge of all TWC products to assist guests and colleagues effectively What you will bring: Demonstrated experience in an administrative or customer-focused role, preferably in the tourism industry Competent with Microsoft Office Suite A strong eye for detail and a focus on accuracy of work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment Excited and passionate about the multi-day walking industry as a whole What we can offer you: Established employee wellbeing program Family & friends discounts across our walking products Opportunities for ongoing training, social and professional development events Exclusive pro-deals program for access to discounted adventure gear How to show your interest: Please provide your current CV and cover letter explaining why you are interested in the position with Tasmanian Walking Company.
