The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and innovative teaching in TAS subjects.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the NSW curriculum, catering to the diverse learning needs of students.Teach TAS subjects - Timber / Industrial Technologies to students across various year levels, fostering a love for learning and practical skills development.Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.Incorporate hands-on activities, experiments, and real-world examples to enhance student understanding and engagement.Provide constructive feedback and assessment to students to support their academic progress and achievement.Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives, assessment strategies, and co-curricular activities.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.NESA accreditation to teach TAS subjects in NSW schools.Proven experience teaching the relevant areas and a confidence and willingness to embrace All-Boys education.Strong understanding of the NSW curriculum requirements for Technology Mandatory and Food Technology.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.Ability to differentiate instruction and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices in teaching and technology education.
