Salary calculated on averaged conditions (generally only required to work during school term time).Salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually.Up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students.Ongoing training and development opportunities.Discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products.Generous Employee Referral Program.About You As a TAS Assistant - School Support Officer (Level 4), you will be an integral member of the school community, demonstrating St Patricks College Sutherland's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents, and the community.
The role of TAS Assistant is to provide support to the coordinator and teachers of the TAS Department. The TAS Assistant is employed to work 25 hours per fortnight in the TAS Department. Their role is to assist the TAS Coordinator and staff, ensuring workshop safety and maintenance. The TAS Assistant may assist with resource preparation if time permits.
The TAS Assistant is responsible for : Liaising and consulting with the TAS Coordinator regarding the overall safety and maintenance of the facilities.Daily startup procedures for workshop machinery.Assisting in stocktake/restocking of supplies for the TAS Department where time permits.Outside of the TAS Department, the TAS Assistant is responsible for :
Regular check of school email account.Completing online courses as required by Sydney Catholic Schools, e.g. Child Protection; Workplace Health & Safety; Workplace Behaviour; ASCIA; Onguard.To excel in this role, you will have : Excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.Computer literacy skills.Interpersonal skills in working with a range of people.Accuracy and attention to detail.Proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required.A willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students.A willingness to perform other duties as directed by the Principal.Application Process Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
