Yawoorroong Miriuwung Gajerrong Yirrgeb Noong Dawang Aboriginal Corporation (MG Corporation) was established in 2006 to receive and manage the benefits transferred under the OFA to the MG People, who are recognised under Australian law as holding Native Title over large areas in the North of Western Australia's east Kimberley region.

Role
Target 120 is a collaborative early intervention program to address the complex needs of at-risk young people and their families to prevent escalating offending behaviour.
The Target 120 Coordinator operates across systems to implement and coordinate Target 120 in the local area.
The Coordinator is responsible for the 120 team in coordination of client intake, support planning and service provision for young people and their families in Target 120.
The Position reports to the MG Corporation Program Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership Operates at a system-wide level.
Promotes Target 120 in the local area.
Provides strategic leadership and direction for local interagency governance groups, operational staff and service providers working with Target 120 clients.
Oversees relationship with contracted Target 120 service providers.
Implementation of Support Coordination Implements and coordinates the Target 120 program in the local area.
Coordinates team for Target 120 screening and triage and the obtaining of consent from potential clients.
Brokers and negotiates quality referral pathways within government systems.
Oversees the team in development of individual support and case plans for Target 120 clients and the facilitation of access to supports and services in line with the plan.
Provides ongoing support to service providers in relation to their interaction with Target 120 clients.
Oversees the team in undertaking transition planning with families and services to re-enter mainstream universal services.
Works with agencies and stakeholders to identify and engage young people and families suitable for referral to youth and family supports and convenes collaborative case management meetings.
Partnerships and Collaboration Leads and coordinates the Target 120 initiative across government and non-government agencies in the local area, in conjunction with local interagency governance groups.
Demonstrates community leadership through collaboration with other government and non-government agencies and community stakeholders, and active participation in relevant community activities.
Builds and maintains relationships and networks to promote and improve service delivery and enhance the profile of, and processes relating to, Target 120.
Supports effective operation of the local interagency governance group, including convening and facilitating regular meetings and enhancing stakeholder participation.
Works with agencies and stakeholders to identify and engage young people and families suitable for referral to youth and family supports and convenes collaborative case management meetings.
Provides support and assistance to agencies in resolving issues that act as barriers in the coordination and collaboration of service delivery.
Builds relationships and networks with the local community, including the Aboriginal community.
Contract management of relevant service providers, including monitoring the achievements of key performance indicators.
Information Management and Reporting Manages and oversees records and maintains up to date information regarding local support options, consultation records and correspondence on the required database within required timeframes.
Manages and oversees the statistical and data collection requirements and provides information for the program evaluation.
Provides timely and accurate written and verbal reports to local interagency governance groups and the Target 120 Project Team as required.
Monitors local expenditure against allocated budget.
Responsible for all Target 120 Reporting, budget management and meeting objectives as per the Target 120 Grant for MG Corporation.

Selection Criteria
Highly developed communication and relationship building skills including the ability to negotiate, manage conflict, establish trust, network and gain co-operation with internal and external stakeholders.
Significant experience in working effectively in culturally appropriate ways with Aboriginal people and people from culturally diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated understanding of past and current issues affecting these communities.
Service delivery experience in a human service, justice, child protection or mental health setting and an understanding of the issues around working collaboratively with agencies to build and develop interagency networks.
Demonstrated capability in case coordination or management, planning, developing and implementing consultation processes and process improvement and capturing relevant evaluation data.
Commitment to the principles of social justice.
Demonstrated experience in managing and meeting program budgets, reporting to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner and meeting program responsibilities and deadlines.
Developed verbal and written communication skills including report writing.
Coordination experience in managing a team of youth workers including coaching, mentoring and performance management.
Program experience in meeting the responsibilities and objectives in accordance with the program grant.
QUALIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Experience and skills working with young people.
Satisfactory National Police Clearance.
Satisfactory Working with Children (WWC) Check.
Current Drivers Licence and the ability to travel in response to organisational needs.
