The Position Available:
This excellent career opportunity is responsible for continuing and building on their recent success in this sector. Working directly with a well-known Managing Director and a group of high-performing property experts, you will be responsible for contract administration, cost control, relationship management, and document control encompassed through a highly technical skillset.
This role is suited to a highly experienced Contract Administrator with strong experience in administering and delivering high-quality residential developments. Someone with strong networks and knowledge, who can identify new business partners and ideas, will thrive in this position.
Tasks include: Overseeing projects from end-to-end to ensure successful delivery outcomes Liaise with subcontractors to ensure budgets, deadlines, claims & variations are accurate and on-time Prepare project reports, progress claims, and labour forecasting to ensure strong cost control & accurate budget reporting Ensure forecasted profits reflect actual profits Ability to accurately comprehend & read plans/specifications to establish the best scope of works Analysing designs & recommending any improvements (design features, building specifications etc.) throughout the design process Ensure projects run in line with contractual agreements and the critical path Accurate coordination and distribution of documentation, plans & specifications Negotiating term agreements and contract inclusions with clients About you: Experience in a contract administrator capacity Strong knowledge of the Building/Construction Industry (development context) Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management (preferred) Strong commercial acumen and comfortable with managing the financial metrics of each project Strong communication, decision-making, and influencing skills The Benefits: Working closely with a high-performing team Diverse & strategic portfolio of existing & future projects A competitive remuneration package that reflects your level of expertise and hard work within the business Motivated, social, and tight-knit team with long tenure Flexible and accountable environment Be part of the company's success in the identified target market.
