We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Talent & Succession Manager to join our team!
This role is a fantastic step for someone who thrives on developing others and driving strategic talent initiatives to ensure the long-term success of our company.
As the talent & Succession Manager, you will be a key architect of our talent strategy, creating pathways for high-potential employees and ensuring we have a strong succession plan for critical roles.
You'll work closely with leaders across the business to identify and nurture top talent, keeping our commitment to growth and continuity at the heart of everything we do.
This is a permanent full time position based at either our Cooma, Sydney or Melbourne offices.
In this role, you will: Develop and manage a comprehensive succession planning process, working closely with leaders to prepare internal candidates for key roles and ensure business continuity.
You'll ensure our plans reflect our values of diversity and inclusion.
Lead talent review processes, identifying, high-potential employees and designing programs to attract, develop and retain top talent.
Utilise talent analytics to inform decisions and measure the effectiveness of talent programs, ensuring alignment with our broader business strategy and objectives.
Partner with People & Performance Business Partners to bring talent and succession planning initiatives to life across Snowy Hydro.
Monitor and assess succession and talent development programs, making adjustments to keep our talent pipeline strong and our strategies effective.
What we're looking for: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
A proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating effective talent and succession planning programs.
Strong knowledge of talent management best practices and experience with talent analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
Experience collaborating with senior leadership to shape talent strategies that align with business goals.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
A change-ready mindset with the ability to lead new initiatives that support continuous learning and development.
