Working in the Office of the Director General in the Ministerial Liaison Unit, you will provide strategic support to the Department's ministerial offices, conduct critical analysis and review information, and regularly liaise with staff all across the Department and in ministerial offices on a range of complex and diverse matters that may be related to the ministerial portfolios the Department supports including: Early Childhood Education, Child Protection, Prevention of Family & Domestic Violence, Community Services, Women's Interests, Disability Services, Seniors & Ageing, Volunteering, Youth, Housing and Homelessness.

In this role you will be providing support to the Manager Ministerial and Parliamentary Services by preparing briefings, correspondence, and advice in response to Ministerial correspondence, Parliamentary issues, Cabinet matters, and other requests from the Ministers' Offices affecting their area of speciality and focus.
Ministerial and Parliamentary Services Manager - Level 7 - $128,077 - $136,891 pa pro rata
In this role you will be directly responsible for ensuring that advice and information prepared and provided to the respective Minister is responsive, and of high quality while maintaining effectvie relationships across the Ministerial Officer, and the Department.
