Our client is a statutory agency tasked with the significant responsibility of protecting Australia's national interests from foreign threats. As well as collecting and analysing foreign intelligence, our client provides information security services to the Australian Government.
The role:
Our client requires an APS 5 equivalent Project Officer to support ASD's Induction Program for contractors.
Experience and Technologies:
Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of on-boarding, induction and off-boarding processes. Demonstrated experience with resource planning. Demonstrated ability to promote a strong cultural fit using various methods of engagement. Ability to improve efficiencies in workflows and processes, apply critical thinking to work towards timeframes and deadlines. Must be highly organised and possess excellent oral and written communication skills to support a wide range of stakeholders. Strong attention to detail in delivering timely and accurate work. Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to employ a variety of tailored communication skills to form productive working relationships. An understanding of procurement and recruitment processes would be highly desirable. Assisting with general administrative tasks to define and maintain registers, access controls and quality processes. Demonstrated administration and organisational skills within Defence's Desktop Environments is desirable though not essential. Excellent work ethic, able to self-manage and progress tasks independently. Work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member. Experience working with Microsoft 365 and other software applications. Application:
