Initial 12 month contract with ASX Top 50 Heavy Industry Giant Hourly rate contract opportunity - $110 per hour Wollongong Location An ASX top 50 & leading international heavy industry giant is seeking a skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join their team for an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend, working on a major program of work for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordination of internal electrical design resources, ensuring all compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations, and all relevant BlueScope and Australian Standards. Ensure compliance to the Engineering Management Plan for all electrical engineering works. Perform electrical engineering, ensuring fit for purpose solutions have been engineered within budget and on schedule. Project engineering for assigned work packages, including developing scopes of work and technical specifications, tender packages, and timely delivery of work packages. This role will include "hands-on" project engineering of various work packages. About you:
Proven experience in the safe and successful development and delivery of brownfield projects in heavy industry. 5+ years of experience managing the engineering aspects of capital projects in heavy industry and associated aspects including HSEC, employee relations, and contractors. Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, the environment, and community. Experience in the pre-authorisation development and delivery of discipline engineering and project deliverables.
