The Role
Our client is seeking the engagement of an experienced Information Management and Records Specialist to oversee the information and records management function across the agency. This will involve the development and implementation of a strategic and operational framework for managing information assets in compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Key duties will include: Management of the development and implementation of information and records management strategy Management of information policies and supporting procedures Facilitation of access to records and establishment of best practice for managing digital and physical information systems Support and training of staff on EDRMS use Implementation of technical aspects of information management, such as data migration and classification Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in information management, records management and/or knowledge management
- Knowledge and understanding of government recordkeeping regulations and frameworks
- Expertise in the administration and management of EDRMS. Experience with Content Manager 10 and MS 365 is highly desirable
- Ability to provide strategic and operational leadership on information and records management issues and initiatives
- Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines for information and records management
It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 security clearance.
