Your Responsibilities in the role: As General Manager/Sales Director, you'll be responsible for:
Building the Brand: Lead the charge to grow the Avec brand in South Australia and ensure it's aligned with our overall business objectives.
Strategic Sales: Create and roll out a Sales Strategy for your region that ties into our overall organisational objectives.
Driving Growth: Keep margins up with existing clients, find new revenue streams, and explore new sectors.
Client Relationships: Build long-term, meaningful relationships with clients, ensuring we deliver on our promises.
Pre-Sales & Solutions: Lead pre-sales efforts, help shape solution designs, and spearhead proposal and tender bids.
Project Delivery: Oversee the successful delivery of projects while growing our delivery capabilities.
Team Leadership: Build and nurture a high-performing team where people can thrive and excel.
Operational Excellence: Make sure we're tracking sales activities efficiently and keeping everything running smoothly.
Internal Collaboration: Work with the Avec Managing Director, Talent General Managers, and the broader team to drive business success.
What You Bring to the Table: A solid background in business development and growing brands in tech or service industries, plus the ability to handle day-to-day operations.
Knowledge of Agile-oriented delivery models and strong project management skills.
A proven ability to build relationships, grow business, and deliver results.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire internal teams and clients alike.
A passion for innovation and an eagerness to deliver exceptional client service.
