Our 230 contemporary accommodation rooms overlook the Darling Square precinct on one side and The Chinese Garden of Friendship on the other.Sydney's iconic Pumphouse, which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, is inspired by the venue's rich industrial history. The design and concept of the venue is influenced by the signature heritage traits of the building, which once supplied power to a booming city in the late 1800s, to a microbrewery, and now to Sydney's newest Bar and Restaurant.Job DescriptionReporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Talent & Culture function across the Hotel. In this fast-paced role, you will drive and foster a positive work environment across the Hotel, working closely with our leadership team to contribute to the ongoing success of the property by providing support and coaching on people management skills. You will act as a trusted advisor to deliver a range of operational and strategic Talent & Culture functions across the entire employee life cycle.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in HR leadership roles. You will possess strong knowledge and experience working with HR-related legislation, including the Fair Work Act, WorkCover, modern awards, and enterprise bargaining agreements. Proven experience successfully leading and coaching leaders through performance management, grievances, and workplace investigations is essential.You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, can juggle complex and competing priorities, and are an effective communicator.
