You'll be a part of our Talent and Capability team based in Melbourne or Sydney and be responsible for designing talent management and development initiatives that engage our people and create a high performance organisation.
This Centre of Excellence role (COE) reports to our Head of Talent & People Strategy and helps lead the Talent team through firm-wide performance development activities, promotion processes and project work.
As a Talent & Capability Manager you will:
Work closely with internal stakeholders (including HR business partners) to lead and manage the end to end annual talent management cycle (talent reviews, performance reviews and promotions).Review, design and communicate talent management strategies including talent development and frameworks, succession planning and performance management.Design and deliver a dynamic, data-driven talent, performance and career progression frameworks that enable leaders to proactively identify and develop talent for critical leadership roles, and supports diversity and inclusion.Collaborate with key stakeholders and working groups, collate and share outcomes, solutions and market information to reach positive solutions which improve employee engagement and retention.Understand and translate business context and requirements to play a coaching and listening role with other colleagues to help align solutions and business needs.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Experience in a legal, financial or professional services (or similarly complex) environment where consultation and stakeholder engagement was paramount.Background and demonstrated experience in strategic talent and performance management, organisational change and cyclical activities.Excellent relationship management skills including the ability to influence outcomes, coach senior stakeholders, and build a profile as a trusted advisor.Ability to navigate ambiguity, shape and design interventions and drive value add projects.Skilled and effective change agent, collaborator and communicator.A track record of collaboration and connectivity across multiple and diverse teams to enable outcomes.Ability to consult with a deep curiosity to understand needs and wants.A self-starter with a growth mindset, and innate desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others.
