This role will be responsible for the design, delivery and coordination of recruitment activities associated with the attraction, sourcing and onboarding of qualified candidates.
This role partners with hiring managers, provides talent acquisition advice and expertise, and ensures a positive and engaging candidate experience.
The Talent Advisor also plays a key role in supporting and implementing talent management strategies including initiatives to identify, develop and retain high performing employees.
End-to-End Recruitment Develop and implement talent management strategies that align with the organisation's business goals and objectives Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting through to offer stage.
Develop job advertisements and source candidates using a range of channels, including online job boards, social media, and networking.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates to ensure they meet role requirements and cultural fit.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to talent management Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with various teams to identify and address talent management needs Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
Build strong relationships with internal teams to align recruitment strategies with company goals.
Talent management Support the development and implementation of employee training and development programs Support the coordination of goal-setting activities across the business, partnering to ensure goal timelines and performance reviews are completed in a timely manner in HRIS, aligned with the A Player framework to support individual performance expectations.
Provide coaching and career development opportunities to support talent mobility of employees Provide support to People team for talent management activities including identifying high-performing employees, developing retention strategies and succession planning activities Measure the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and make recommendations for improvements Candidate Experience Ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates by communicating promptly and providing feedback throughout the recruitment process.
Coordinate interviews, manage follow-ups, and maintain professional communication with all applicants.
Sourcing and Talent Pipeline Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Use networking, sourcing tools, and industry events to identify and engage with potential candidates.
Background Checks and Aptitude Testing Conduct police checks and background verification on shortlisted candidates, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Administer aptitude and skills assessments to evaluate candidates' capabilities, ensuring they align with role expectations and company standards.
Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and practices for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Keep up to date with recruitment trends and best practices, implementing changes where appropriate.
Reporting and Compliance Maintain accurate recruitment records and generate reports on hiring metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate satisfaction.
Ensure all recruitment practices comply with company policies and employment regulations.
What You'll Bring To succeed in this role, you'll bring a mix of skills, knowledge, and qualities that help drive our Recruitment goals and objectives At least 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
Experience in high-volume or specialized hiring is a plus.
Excellent communication and people skills, able to connect easily with candidates and hiring managers.
Skilled in using recruitment tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and social media for hiring.
Well-organized, able to handle multiple hiring processes at the same time.
Strong ability to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and fit for the company culture.
