About the RoleThe Talent Administrator will work within the Talent Team to support onboarding, recruitment, and administrative tasks essential to a large-scale transformation initiative. Reporting directly to the Talent Manager, this role is crucial in ensuring effective onboarding and candidate engagement, maintaining documentation, and facilitating a smooth recruitment process to support transformation objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the onboarding process for new employees and vendors, including collating documentation, scheduling inductions, coordinating IT equipment, and overseeing necessary paperwork.Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and activity tracking documentation, collating information for reporting purposes.Collaborate with Procurement colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient management of candidate engagement activities.Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing guidance on onboarding and offboarding processes.Contribute to the development of process flows and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Provide administrative support for recruitment, including interview scheduling, preparation of documentation, and communication with candidates.Liaise with the Talent Manager to facilitate room bookings, prepare interview schedules, and manage related correspondence.Notify unsuccessful candidates by email, address interview feedback requests, and provide administrative support to conclude recruitment campaigns successfully.Use sound judgment and expertise in decision-making, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice principles.Perform additional tasks as directed by the Talent Manager to support team objectives.Highly Desirable CriteriaProven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.Strong customer service focus when liaising with stakeholders.Experience prioritizing tasks and delivering quality results on time in a fast-paced environment.Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.Well-developed organizational skills, with a proactive approach to task management.Ability to supervise team members, identify training needs, and promote a professional work environment.Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in achieving results within legislative and policy frameworks.Desirable CriteriaExperience working in a recruitment project environment.Knowledge of, or ability to quickly gain knowledge of, relevant legislative and operational practices.Skills and ExperienceEssential SkillsExperience managing onboarding and recruitment support tasks, including documentation and candidate engagement.Strong organizational, relationship-building, and communication skills.Knowledge of and experience in developing efficient processes for recruitment and onboarding.Demonstrated integrity in managing sensitive information in line with legislative guidelines.BenefitsOpportunity to contribute to a large-scale transformation project, modernizing services with a citizen-centric, agile technology platform.Work within a strategic transformation division, supporting secure and effective service delivery.Collaborative and supportive team culture, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development in recruitment and onboarding practices.Contact DetailsFor a confidential chat, please contact Anissa on 0484 568 *** or via email at ******.
