Job Description Are you ready to make a significant impact on guiding Snowy Hydro's Business growth?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Team Lead (Generation Technical) to lead a newly established Talent Acquisition Team, dedicated to recruiting technical roles for Snowy Hydro's generation business.
This role will see you leading, coaching and developing a team of recruitment consultants that collectively champion a positive, end to end recruitment process for applicants ensuring timely, respectful communication and transparency.
Our ideal candidate will be a natural at building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior leaders, hiring managers, and Business Partners and demonstrated experience collaborating, developing and executing targeted campaigns that showcase Snowy Hydro's unique employee value proposition to technical talent.
This is a permanent full time position based in Cooma, at Snowy Hydro's Head Office.
In this role, you will: Develop and implement a targeted talent acquisition strategy for the Generation business unit, aligned with Snowy Hydro's workforce transformation goals Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles, ensuring efficient and effective hiring practices that deliver high-quality candidates Collaborate with hiring managers and People and Performance Business Partners to understand current and future talent needs, proactively building talent pipelines and sourcing strategies Team - Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback and coaching, and recognise and reward achievement Monitor and analyse key talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, to track progress and identify areas for improvement Prepare regular reports and presentations on talent acquisition activities and outcomes for senior leadership and other stakeholders Utilise data insights to drive continuous improvement in talent acquisition processes and strategies What we're looking for: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area Demonstrated experience in a talent acquisition leadership role, with a focus on recruiting technical talent in a competitive market Deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices, including sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding, particularly for technical roles Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage talent acquisition metrics to inform strategy and process improvement Proven ability to develop and execute targeted talent acquisition strategies that deliver results This is an exceptional chance to drive recruitment success, supporting the growth and development of Snowy Hydro's expanding workforce.
