Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Head of People and Culture (P&C) and working closely with the P&C function and hiring managers across AWA, the Talent Acquisition Specialist leads the end-to-end recruitment of all roles across the organisation. This role requires an individual with dynamic end-to-end recruitment experience preferably within the healthcare and/or aged care sector.
Ideal Candidate Profile Relevant qualification in Human Resources or related field. Proven experience in an end-to-end Talent Acquisition position, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers and understand their recruitment requirements. Provide end-to-end recruitment solutions for all roles in the organisation, including preparing recruitment requisition approvals, advertising/sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting telephone screens, participating in interviews (in-person or Teams), making recommendations to hiring managers on candidates and creating offer letters. Work proactively when sourcing candidates, including sourcing passive candidates, social media sourcing, employee referrals and working closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges. Prepare recruiting forecasts as part of the organisation's strategic planning. Create and manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future positions. Provide regular reporting to People & Culture and other stakeholders on recruitment activity, data, metrics and KPIs as per agreed formats and timelines. Manage the recruitment inbox and respond to customer and candidate enquiries in a timely manner. Ensure the AWA recruitment process is followed and that probity, compliance, and pre-employment requirements, such as necessary accreditations, are met. Leverage industry and sector benchmarking to ensure AWA continues to be competitive in the market. Recommend innovative recruitment tactics and initiatives that align with AWA's recruitment strategy. Qualifications Relevant qualifications in Human Resources (or related field). We Offer Flexible work arrangements.
