About the Role Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will take the lead regarding various recruitment components for the business, focusing on enhancing the talent function engagement across operations. Involvement in aligning current and future workforce planning requirements will also be part of your role, ensuring operational needs are being met.
This permanent full-time position is based in Mascot NSW, and provides the opportunity to work directly with hiring managers across our Australian operations, focusing on sourcing the right talent to support a variety of positions.

Responsibilities include: Provide daily operational support and exemplary customer service to facilitate the recruitment of blue-collar and professional vacancies.Coach and advise leaders and the workforce on effective recruitment and acquisition practices.Accountability for the full recruitment process for vacancies, from candidate sourcing to selection, ensuring timely and efficient management and candidate care. This includes tracking and following up on open vacancies to fill positions with relevant and quality talent in a timely manner.Develop and maintain talent pools for blue-collar positions, ensuring a database of potential candidates for each site.Collaborate with the HR Manager to develop talent acquisition plans aimed at attracting quality candidates.Explore strategies to broaden sourcing avenues and attract candidates for blue-collar vacancies.Continuously improve the selection process and utilize competency frameworks.Where required, assist in developing interview guides based on identified key competencies and skills.What We're Looking for: Experience in a similar role (internal or agency recruitment background).Strong customer service skills (exposure to high volume of calls per day).Experience working in an industrial environment and blue-collar recruitment.Ability to manage over 30 vacancies at any given time.Capability to coach and manage stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.Strong analytical skill set to understand the essence and requirements of each position.Experience in improving recruitment processes.Strong administrative, time management, and organisational skills.Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.Are you with us?
